SAC Minutes

March 20, 2003

The March SAC meeting was held on March 20, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. in the administrative conference room. Attendance was checked and attached.

Mrs. Dubin distributed and discussed the 2003-2004 budget packet. The final budget information is due in finance by April 11^th. Mrs. Dubin explained that all referendum monies are to be used for services for children. Also that because we are a Title I school, the new criteria as set forth in the “No Child Left Behind Act of 2001”for aides was distributed and explained.

Mrs. Ralich gave the balance in the account and discussed the allocation of funds for teams for field trips. Mrs. Murphey made a motion that $400 be allocated each team K-5 for field trips to be used this year or rolled over for next year. Mrs. Kleer seconded the motion, and the motion was passed unanimously.

Mr. Osborne of Publix said the March of Dimes program would be held April 7 – 24, 2003. The classroom with the most donations will take a field trip to Publix for an ice cream party, and the second place classroom will have an ice cream party at school.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m. The next meeting will be April 24, 2003.
