INTERACTIVE KAGAN EXERCISE

· STUDENT/PARENT HANDBOOK Review

Parents and TBES Staff analyzed handbook in interactive groups, providing valuable feedback which will be used to generate 08-09 handbook.

Updates:

· Student ID’s

All students will eventually be issued ID cards. These ID cards are GPS & UPC enabled to work with meal purchases and school bus location. 2 Classes will begin a pilot program with the new ID cards after spring break. All families will be receiving information in April newsletter. Classes and parents of students in classes selected for pilot will get more detailed information. Sarasota County has a goal to have ID cards in place, by start of school 08-09.

· A+ School Project – Consensus reached:

Math Related Literature Voted: all Yes/No Nays

“Planning for ’08 & ’09 and Beyond”

· Budget & Projections

Budget to be given to Principals on March 26^th. April SAC/SDMT Budget meetings set. Projections continue to undergo revision due to potential impact of Imagine Charter School.
