The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m. by Jeanne Medawar,

Review of February 21, 2006 Minutes

ü Motion was made to accept the minutes as published. Seconded, and approved.

Construction Update

ü Aerial photos showing the construction site were reviewed

Technology Resources – School Recognition Dollars

ü Larry Burch (ITC) to use fourth mobile lab with 1^st grade classes

ü New Elmo and projector will be used by 4^th grade

ü Technology resources purchased by A+ funds are well received by teachers

ü “English To A Beat” program was purchased for our 30 ESOL students – these CDs are for all grade levels

Staffing for 2006-2007

ü Discussion was held on possible staffing for next year

ü If we could have it all……..

o Kick it up a notch for 5^th grade students – possibly change classrooms for several classes each day? Get ready for 6^th grade

o PTA sponsored Reading &/or Math Night for Parents in the Fall?

The next SAC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 18, 2006 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Main Office.
