The SAC/Management Team met on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 4:15 pm.

PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE:

PTSO

Terri Chivington reports that PTSO has a little over $10,000 in account. PTSO has given money to the cafeteria for students who don’t have money to pay for lunch; Clinic received under garments, socks, person hygiene products. PTSO also gave money to art, music and PE to buy additional supplies for the classrooms.

T-Rec Dance will be Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The students really enjoyed this dance last year. Costumes will be optional. PTSO has requested parent volunteers to help throughout the year. Vicki Kitchner will try to help with recruitment of parents to help at events.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

All data ready to input for school improvement plan and the PIP plan is being prepared. The PRO and Transition teams will take standardized testing. Data is in support of Next Generation.

SCHOOL UPDATE

Oak Park enrollment is at 362 as of the 10 day count. The county has 1,000 student shortage. Oak Park has not filled all positions and is not losing any staff.

Active Boards are in use and are universally accepted in all areas of campus. We have 188 staff members that use the Active Boards daily.

Parent/Student Equity books have not been printed and sent to Oak Park. Once received we will give out to all students and parents.

Susan Lomas voted as SAC Chairperson – seconded by Cathy Meyer.

Need bilingual notices for parents.

Next SAC/Management Team meeting has been scheduled for October 9, 2007 at 4:15.
