Minutes
Members in attendance: George Kenney, Kathy Lower, Mike Pelfrey,

Meeting was called to order 5:35
Motion by Kathy Lower and 2nd by Anne
Rehth to approve December 8th Minutes, motion passed
Minutes of the November 17th meeting
will be presented at next meeting
Operational Guidelines: Dr. Kenney suggested that in the future we
might want to consider changing the guidelines on students and voting. Suggested that perhaps students have a collective vote
instead of individual vote since our school has 5 students.
Old Business: Funding of Secretary position
for SAC. It was discussed that most
schools do not typically pay this position.
This committee decided not to fund it.
New Business: Dr. Kenney discussed the outline for the
remainder of the school year.

Enrollment projection is 1807 up 300

At the End of the Month registration for
next year will take place
·
District is committed
·
Dr. Kenney will be visiting
·
NPHS will be the only HS in the state to
house the first ever Hydrogen/electric power plant. The only other location in the state of
·
Dept of Energy and possibly Gov Bush is
expected to visit us in April in reference to this Hydro Plant
·
A Diversity Forum is being formed with
parents and teachers and will be meeting on Thursday Jan 22 at 6:00
Parent Opening -Kathy
Stasher’s submitted her resignation and it was accepted. Nominations for a new parent rep will be
taken at the Feb 14th Report Card night. Ballots will be sent out in the April
Newsletter, which will go out before 3/22/04.
Term Limits for SAC. Rich will update us at the next meeting when
some of the member positions are up for re-election or expire.
Next meeting is Feb 9th at 5:30.
