order 5:30
Members and
visitors introduced themselves.
Approval of
Minutes: Jim Clark made a motion to accept the
minutes as read, Iona 2nd the motion, Motion passed and minutes were
accepted as read.
Open
comment: No visitors requested time to comment
Old
Business:
Josh Bellis made a presentation of
survey. Survey Attached to
minutes. Results were discussed. Dress code will be added to the next agenda
and a committee will be formed after the holidays to address a revision to the
dress code, which must be made before spring break due to the handbook
deadlines.
New
Business:
The Safe and Orderly School Committee
Report was not presented at this meeting.
Request
for funds:
Carol
LaValle would like to take 65 students to the Mid Evil Times at 10.00 per
student for a total of $400. Jim Clark
motioned to accept and Linda Thorton 2nd motion. Motion passed to fund request.
Carol LaValle requested $300 for a
Model UN trip to FGCU. Mike Pelfrey
made a motion to accept, Iona 2nd and motion passed to fund the
request.
Donna Day make a request for $1,956.50
to help fund a portion of 10 staff members attending FETC. Mike Pelfrey made a
motion to accept, Linda Thorton 2nd motion passed to fund the
request.
