NJHS, Leadership Academy/Builder’s Club and the Kiwanis Club provided snacks for one day during FCAT testing.

Sarah Bruno requested a change in fundraisers since the last one did not produce much money.  She asks to now go with Encore Fundraising after spring break.  Motion approved.

Janel Sanchez spoke on behalf of Jennifer Patterson.  Three students from the History Fair made it to State competition.  They are requesting $1,198.00 for lodging, substitute for J. Patterson for one day, mileage to and from North Port and Tallahassee Community College as well as contribution to help defray costs of the families going.  Ted Watson will donate $200.00 from Leadership Academy/Builder’s Club to help the families. SAC agreed to $798.00.

Motion passed.

Ted Watson will be taking the twelve students who completed their requirements for Builder’s Club/Leadership Academy to Busch Gardens on Fri. 4/18/08.  He requests $665.00 for busing (All About Charters).  Motion passed.

Dr. Desjardins will be taking the $11,000 from magazine sales and dividing it as follows:

$325.00 per 21 teams, per 13 departments with the remaining $650.00 to the PE Dept.

It was suggested that teachers and staff look more into grants.  Lynsey Davis said they utilize a lot through grants but will investigate further.

FCAT is next week.  It was decided to keep students in same room all day so that there is less movement on campus.

Meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting will take place on April 3, 2008 at 7:45 am.
