SAC Meeting

February 1, 2007

Present: Scott Wilson, Vince Dennen, Cheri Dennen, Richelle Taylor-Harris, Katherine Sogolow, Carlos Albino, Derek Jenkins, Brenda Niswander, Ted Watson

Minutes of 1/4/07 meeting were reviewed and approved.

New Business:

Neda Hardin, USS Eisenhower team, requested funds for team to attend performance of

Apollo: To the Moon at NPHS on March 16, 2007. Motion approved for $400 to cover cost for students to attend.

Mr. Wilson requested funds for purchase of FCAT reward t-shirts. Motion approved for $1,000. SAC will reimburse school for $1,000 of FCAT t-shirt expense.

Kate Lynn and Elvena Smith requested funds to attend National Council of Teachers of Mathematics in Atlanta in March. Motion approved for $1900 with the stipulation of the department chair approval and also that they inquire into Gulfcoast Grant for partial reimbursement.
