The meeting of the School Advisory Council (SAC) of Gulf Gate Elementary School was held on September 26, 2006. Chairperson Melissa Fraley called the meeting to order at 3:37p.m.

Discussion of School Improvement Plan.

Discussion of the 30-hour Professional Development.

Professional Development choices are:

Curriculum Mapping (15 hours) (Team Choice)
McRel (15 hours)
Differentiated Instruction (15 hours)
Designing Classroom Assessments using our Instructional planning tool (15 hours).

Debbie Beck made a motion to accept the School Improvement Plan for 2006-2007. Heather Clark seconded motion.

Members approved School Improvement Plan.

Melissa Fraley moved to adjourn the meeting and we adjourned at 3:50p.m.

We will not have a SAC meeting in October.
