The sixth meeting of the 2007/08 Gocio SAC was held at 3:30 with the following 15 members present:
Sarah Booth, Antoinette Bush, Barbara
Cooke, Audrey Davis,
Pamela Davis, Steve Dragon, Deborah Fipps, Julie
Harrell,
Kirsten Hazelton, Rana Hodges, Angela Robinson,
Martha Sammuelson,
Angela Smithson, Maureen
Taliento, and Debra Voege.
The
minutes of the February 12 meeting were read silently. Rana Hodges made a motion to accept them,
which was seconded by Deborah Fipps. SAC
approved them.
The
revised school uniform policy and dress code was reviewed. After a brief discussion highlighting the
changes, Audrey Davis made a motion to accept the new policy. Angela Robinson seconded the motion. SAC voted and fourteen of the fifteen members
present approved the policy. The revised
policy will go into effect for the 2008-2009 school year.
Twenty-five
of our students performed in Washington, DC at The Kennedy Center for the
Performing Arts. Their performance was outstanding. Gocio students were the
second group to perform that night. The
students spent an exciting four days and three nights in the DC area visiting
many of the sites. They were even
fortunate enough to spot four pandas at the zoo. It was a trip they will never forget. You may

motion for adjournment was made by Debra Voege and seconded by Audrey Davis.
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 3:30 on
April 15, 2008.
