Members introduced themselves and their role on SAC (teacher, parent, business partner, community member).  Mr. Dragon explained the Ground Rules for all meetings and introduced the SAC Operational Guidelines Draft, which members will read over and approve our next meeting.  It was decided that folders would be provided for all SAC members to use as a place to organize their handouts.

A general discussion of our school grade (A) took place.  It was mentioned that we will be receiving monies from the state for earning this grade and that SAC will be instrumental in the decisions to be made concerning the allotment of the funds.  SAC involvement in the recent remodeling decisions was noted.  Mr. Dragon commented that the State Legislature is revisiting the A+ plan during its current session and changes may be made regarding this award.

Mr. Dragon addressed Article VII (Officers) of the SAC Operational Guidelines Draft and SAC accepted the following volunteers:  Kirsten Hazelton and Julie Harrell as Co-Chairpersons, and Angela Robinson and Barbara Cooke as Co-Recording Secretaries.

The Flexible Supplement Allocation and the 5-Star Notebook will be on the agenda for the October meeting.
