SCHOOL ADVISORY MEETING

MINUTES

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2003

Members present: Co-chair: Joan Bower, Co-Chair: Charlene Ford, Glenn Wile, Meredith Allport, Irina Chtchavlinski, Michelle Cifarelli, Brian Finnerty, Nate Gibbs, Cindy Nastri, Mary Pedro, Jerry Robinson, Myrette Rodney, Susan Steinfath, Paula Thoennissen, J.W. Triplett and Mary Wagner.

Members Absent: Jim Shaughnessy and Valerie Smith.

The meeting came to order at 4:00 p.m. Ms. Bower reviewed the status of the parent, student, and teacher climate surveys. Per our last committee meeting, the parent, student, and teacher climate surveys have been revised. The surveys have been printed and color-coded. The parent surveys will be translated into both Russian and Spanish.

NEW BUSINESS: The 2003-2004 Climate Survey for classified employees was reviewed and edited. The revisions were approved by a unanimous vote.

The surveys will be administered to classified employees as part of their duty day.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at 4:00 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
