SAC minutes from meeting of 1/19/06

Members present: Laura Kingsley, Pamela Bartelmay, Cindy Millar, Myreli Zamora, Eric Opalinsky, and Cara Kanner.

• Review of minutes from 11/17/05. Reviewed and Approved.

• FCAT schedule was explained. Florida Studio Theater will present a performance

to encourage students to do their best.

• Mathletics: Pam discussed what she talked about with the specialized math

teacher that was visiting this week. Ideas: multiplication facts program,

using recycling for math, problem solving. More meetings will be held again

to finalize ideas for next year, and consider this year’s plan.

• Referendum: Discussed ideas to get the public aware and the need to pass

it. Can we put up posters at school urging people to vote?
