Discussion:  We are receiving a lot of technology to our school.  35 laptops and 4 desktops.  The delivery will start with 5th

 

grade and work its way down.  The older computers will be switched into the younger grades.

Discipline Data

 

 

 

Discussion: We have had a spike in behavior this past week.  Remember, time on task equals good behavior.  Admin is

 

trying to be swift and consistent with referrals.  Students who fight are being sent home to send the message that it is not

 

tolerated. 

 

Conclusions:  Rewards will be given out for any student who the teachers feels behaviors appropriately or has a positive

 

change in behaviors.

Progress Monitoring

 

 

 

 

Discussion: With a comparison from last years data to this years data, our SRI scores looked good.  Grade 2- 23% proficient,  Grade 3- 28% proficient, Grade 4- 57% proficient, Grade 5- 70% proficient.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Conclusions:  Teachers to keep using the data to monitor how the students are doing.  Intervention groups are being formed

 

 

With any support staff available as well as teachers volunteering their time to do third rotations, lunch, before and after school, etc.

 Family Nights

 

 

 

 

Discussion:  We partnered with Carrabbas to feed 100 families for our Dream Chasers family night on November 1st.  We

 

 

Had a  nice turn out and lots of donations of door prizes.

 

 

Our guidance Family Night is November 15th.  We will also have a math night in January.

Discussion:  The county meets with the school monthly to look at our AYP progress.  ESE department is part of the target

 

 

Group since that was our area of not meeting AYP.  Our ESE numbers are looking better than any other year.  26% of our

 

 

ESE students are at proficiency right now. We need to make sure to show growth to meet AYP under other areas.

Discussion: There has been a team developed to help the school meet different criteria.  The team consistent of Landings

 

 

Personnel as well as some school based individuals.  They meet with the teams to be of assistance in any way possible.

 

 

We will be working on using Connect Ed to send messaged to the families

 

 

Conclusions:  Use Connect Ed to remind parents about the fact that we are a Uniform School
