	and Secretary- Kate Kramer and Monica Wideman -Votes were cast and Tony Torrence as Chair, Tanisha Williams as
	Vice-Chair and Kate Kramer as Secretary
	as the 2007-2008 SAC Representatives and the general membership was also accepted.

	Discussion:
	All SAC dates were provided to members present. Meetings will be the 1st Thursday of each month with the exception
	of August.

Attendance- 5 STAR School		K. Kramer
	Discussion:
	It is important to have all members present at SAC meetings to help earn our 5 STAR School goal again this year. We
	need to have at least 80% attendance by all at each meeting.
	Conclusions: If you are not able to make a meeting, please see a board member prior to the meeting to gain information
	and given input as needed.

	Discussion: Notice was provided to all community members via school marquee and phone/e-mail contact.
	SIP was discussed and all are in agreement for its implementation for the 2007-2008 school year.

	Discussion: 5 stipends are available to teachers for the following school tasks:
	Website, Newsletter, Safety Patrol, Student Government and Recycling

	Discussion: Carolyn Major-Harper is the Title 1 Parent Involvement Coordinator for Emma E. Booker. She is looking for
	Parents to become active in the school and sit on a Parent Involvement Committee.
	She would like to start at the school level and then move toward the district level.
