CRANBERRY ELEMENTARY
SAC MEETING MINUTES
Ms. Daniels called the meeting to order. She may the suggestion that the SAC Committee possibly invite the City Manager of North Port to a coffee meeting to allow the SAC members to get acquainted with one of our community leaders. She will investigate this idea for a future meeting. Election of officers was conducted with the following results:

Deborah Pappas Vice President
Secretary Margaret Roberson
Don Cramer then led the meeting presenting the SAC Guidelines for approval. They were approved with no changes from the previous year. A new business partner, Joe Carusone, Slice of New York, was presented, voted on, and added as a new SAC member.
Ms. Daniels led a discussion on Needs Assessment and the School Improvement Plan as follows:
Math Level 3 – Decreased in 3rd, 4th, slight increase in 5th
Reading Level 3 – 3rd remained the same, 4th, 5th increased
Writing 89% up to 96% - increase
Reading Sub groups – each made progress towards closing the gap
Math – Minority and ESE students improved while white student population decreased.
Writing – All subgroups made improvements
