SAC MEETING MINUTES

The meeting was called to order by Ms. Daniels due to the absence of the Chairperson, Nick Trolli.
The minutes were read and approved. Each SAC member received a new notebook to keep all SAC information in. The 2004-05 guidelines were given out and reviewed. There was discussion regarding adding new SAC members as needed to fulfill the necessary balance on the SAC Committee. Ada Moncayo was voted on and elected by the Classified Staff as an additional member to represent the Hispanic population at Cranberry. There was discussion regarding the term of office for SAC members and as stated in the guidelines, a member is to serve for a minimum term of 2 years, however, can serve as many as three terms for a total of 6 years, but must be re-elected every two years by their respective peer group as set forth in the guidelines.
Vice-Chairperson, Don Cramer led the discussion on implementation of Parliamentary Procedures for our SAC meetings. The members present felt Roberts Rules of Order were not needed for our small group. They felt having an agenda as a guide we could conduct our meetings orderly without such a strict set of rules.
