SAC MEETING MINUTES

Thursday, October 12, 2004

8:00 a.m. Media Center

 

 

The meeting was called to order by Ms. Daniels at 8:00 a.m. 

 

  1. Copies of the School Improvement Plan 2004-05 Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Yearly Program Evaluation School Data were distributed to the members for discussion.

 

  1. Goals were set for each of the required goal areas.

 

  1. Ms. Daniels shared a book titled “ScienceSaurus” for use in our Science Lab.  She led a discussion of using funds from SAC for the purchase of these books and earmarking a total of $3,000 for consumables and equipment for use in our Science Lab. 

 

  1. State Equity Law books were distributed to members regarding the policy against discrimination.

 

  1. A committee was selected to meet on Thursday, October 14, 2004 to review and revise the Operational Guidelines and bring the results back to the entire committee.
