S.A.C. MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 25, 2003 AT 2:15 P.M.

 

 

Members Present:

Barbara Bilodeau, Dawn Carey, Karen Chester, Alex Cornell, Traci Douberly, Debra Markley, Debra Reese, Karen Rose, Tracy Witzer.

 

This was a special S.A.C. meeting requested by Karen Rose, to review the S.A.C. Operational Guidelines and to distribute the State Equity Laws, Policy Against Discrimination for Employees & Applicants.

 

The meeting was called to order at 2:15 p.m.  All members present introduced themselves. 

 

Per Federal requirements, each S.A.C. member was given the State Equity Laws, Policy Against Discrimination for Employees & Applicants.

 

Debra Reese reviewed the S.A.C. Operational Guidelines for 2003 – 2004 and there were no additional changes made.

 

It was suggested that S.A.C. have student representation from the following areas:  one 6th grade student from Student Council, one 7th grade student from The Honor Society and one 8th grade student from the Web.  Karen Chester will draft a letter to Joe Bazenas, Pam Benuche and Cory Williams, requesting a student representative from their respective teams.  Karen Chester will also ask Dennis Costa for assistance from his students with a promotional campaign to open S.A.C. to all other students.

 

There were no further questions or concerns.
