SIP Plan – Now approved, no changes required.
Our school mission is to provide a welcoming, supportive climate of the highest expectations that will enable students to become self-confident, independent thinkers.
Need common mission to be discussed at next team meeting – may change.
Have mission in every room and letterhead.
Made nice gains in Reading last year.
We are required to do more assessments to drive lesson plans.
Writing – Write Reflections – Resource teachers are trained. K-5 program. Consultant impressed with K team and writing.
Math – Did well in past. Focusing on math plans in community planning time.

Title 1 – Teacher Prof. Dev. 3,165
District – 30 hrs. ACTIV Tech Contract
Main Focus – Writing, Quality Lesson Plans, ActivBoard Training
Title 1 Parent Requirements – moved to next month
Update Parent Conferences – Have until end of week. Discussed with students. Must meet with teachers for report card. One on one contact nice for teachers.
Compact forms are due by next week – 93.94% per Mrs. Henderson
Parents calling asking “why do I have to come in?”
Title 1 Brochures to be put in Brentwood Folders in neon or colored paper.
2.6 Reading, Science Lab from Title 1 monies.
