SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
Input sought on School Improvement Plan
K-5 writing program - Write Reflections – Training already took place during the pre-service week– Consultant coming in to work with teachers to improve writing scores.
WriteScore has been purchased to progress monitor writing in grades 2, 3, and 4. Science in grade 5.
Mrs. Henderson will add Write Reflections to website.
Parent involvement or resource teachers is where most Title 1 money will be spent.
Title dollars will be used for teacher training
30 Hour Plan – Recommend ActivBoard training.
A+ money - Past Practice approved.
Will go to SDMT for approval.
PTO to do gently used booksale – end of year
Title 1 Requirements - Title 1 requires a parent/teacher conference every year for 1st Report Card. Looking at that time to go over Compact. Professional Day to compensate for time. Must have contact with every parent.
Compact approved.
