Agenda: 2004 – 2005 SAC Orientation

2004 – 2005 School Improvement Plan

Discussion: Introduction of SAC members.

Summary and review of the 2003-2004 SAC committee and School

Improvement Plan.

Denise Cantalupo presented Sarasota County District FCAT testing

results; review of School Improvement Plans and achievements of

projected goals.

Results indicated progress for Booker High School students in

every area.

Data indicates areas to be focused on; areas of need for both staff

and students; and assists with the projection of the SAC

Committee’s work and goal setting for the 2004-2005

School Improvement Plan.

By-Law changes – Item # 4 – to be changed by SAC committee next

scheduled meeting.

Preparation for the upcoming Accreditation in 2006.

Next SAC meeting is scheduled for Thursday - October 14, 2004.
