Agenda Item #1: Review of S.A.C. Operational Guidelines

Mr. Sprinkle reviewed our S.A.C. Operation Guidelines. He thoroughly discussed “membership responsibilities” and how important it is for S.A.C. members to attend every meeting. He reviewed S.A.C. Officers’ responsibilities and how we choose our officers each year.

Agenda Item #2: Election of S.A.C. Officers

The floor was opened up for election of S.A.C. Officers. The following people will be serving this year:

Chairperson: Jane Wiechmann

Co-Chair: Jorge Lopez-Diaz

Secretary: Leslee Butler

Agenda Item #3: Request for S.A.C. Dollars

Request #1: Joyce Barnett requested funding for Odyssey of the Mind. The money will be used to purchase Odyssey of the Mind materials for Mrs. Bakich and Mrs. O’Gorman to become coaches. This would allow Bay Haven to add additional regular and primary Odyssey of the Mind teams. Consensus was reached to give Mrs. Barnett $350.00. S.A.C. parents requested that information be distributed to Bay Haven parents about how to become a coach for Odyssey of the Mind.

Request #2: Mr. Sprinkle asked for approximately $900.00 for a S.A.C. Chairperson supplement. Consensus was reached to give the money.
