Enrollment Information
How to Enroll:
Phoenix Academy is a school of choice. Students may be recommended
by their school guidance counselor or may request to attend themselves.
They are required to sign a written contract, which includes an agreement
to stay at the Academy for a full year. The families and staff pledge
to work together to help turn students around, lift them up and guide
them toward higher academic achievement.
Student
Code of Conduct
Sarasota County Schools Code of Student Conduct outlines student
rights and responsibilities as well as behavior and consequences.
Each student will receive a copy of this document. Each student
and parent/guardian is to sign and return the form stating his
or her receipt & acknowledgement of this document. In order
to establish reasonable consistency in the application of discipline,
a uniform Disciplinary Response Code has been developed. Teachers
may develop individual rules and disciplinary practices to deal
with individual school or classroom problems which supplement this
Code and which are not in conflict with it. The Code applies to
all students enrolled in Phoenix Academy.

Dress
Code
Phoenix Academy takes pride in the appearance of students. There
are specific expectations for student dress. Your dress reflects
the quality of the school, of your conduct and of your schoolwork.
The student, with parent’s guidance, should come to school
ready to learn and participate in the instructional program. School
clothing naturally reflects the ins and outs of the current fashion
scene. All students are expected to comply with the following specific
guidelines for student dress each day and when participating in
school sponsored activities.
