Oak Park is a Golden School!

Oak Park is always in need of interested volunteers to work with students in a variety of ways. Many students have individual needs such as academic assistance, feeding or one-on-one support in the therapy pool.

Oak Park has over 75 registered volunteers who work with our students on a weekly basis. Volunteers help out in the classroom with academic and literacy activities. They assist our physically challenged students with feeding and self-help skills. Some volunteers spend time in the swimming pool, at the corral with the hippo-therapy horse program or in the music and art department. There are many opportunities for volunteers throughout Oak Park's campus. If interested contact Vicki Kitchner, at 361-6428.
