Renaissance is a national honor program that serves to recognize students for their academic success and citizenship. Renaissance is based upon the following premise, "What you respect, recognize, reward & reinforce is what gets accomplished." At McIntosh Middle School, we have four levels of Renaissance.

Level 1: 4.0 GPA =Gold Card,
       Level 2: 3.5-3.99 =Silver Card
         Level 3: 3.0-3.49 = White Card

Each quarter students who earn Renaissance are honored at a school wide activity. Renaissance students are given their honor cards and a specially designed t-shirt that they wear each Friday to show their pride and to earn other rewards each week.
