As you
can see by reviewing our
breakfast
and
lunch menus, food variety and
choices are very important. We focus on foods that are
popular with young people, but we also aim for
nutritional integrity and balance. Students, as adults,
tend to like choices, so each day students at all grade
levels are invited to select from three entrée
choices, two vegetable choices, two fruit choices, and
skim, low-fat, low-fat chocolate, or whole milk. When
students are allowed to select their meals based upon
their own food preferences, they tend to consume the
entire meal, which is our goal!
