Thank you for your interest in the School District of Sarasota County, FL. The school district is always seeking outstanding applicants for all vacancies. The school system operates as a county unit under the direction of a five member Board and the administration of an appointed Superintendent of Schools.
School facilities include 22 elementary schools, 12 secondary schools, an exceptional student center, a school for gifted students, and a center for vocational-technical-adult education. The instructional staff consists of approximately 3100 professionals and 2350 classified staff for over 40,000 students.
The Human Resources website provides an on-line application for administrative, instructional and non-instructional applicants.
