BRENTWOOD BOOK FAIR & OPEN HOUSE The annual Scholastic Book Fair takes place beginning October and continuing through October 2008. Scholastic Books offers a wonderful variety of books at all reading levels as well as other cool, must-have items. All students will receive a $5.00 voucher to spend on their favorite new books. In addition to scheduled class visits throughout the week, the Book Fair will be open and ready for business during the Brentwood Open House.
Each year Brentwood PTO hosts this fun evening for our families to visit campus, purchase new books for their children, tour classrooms, the computer labs, and special area rooms, and socialize with friends. This year we will also feature live entertainment and a delicious catered meal from the Olive Garden. So please accept our invitation to have dinner together with your Brentwood family, shop at our book fair, and check out your child's classroom.
The Olive Garden, one of our business partners, is providing three tasty dinner entrees from which to choose: lasagna, spaghetti, or buttered pasta, all served with salad, their fabulous breadsticks, and your choice of soda. Pre-orders are currently being taken by filling out a simple meal order form. Pre-ordering is strongly recommended as The Olive Garden will only bring a limited number of additional meals to be purchased during the event. Dinner will be served from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. You may dine in the cafeteria or at our new picnic tables in the courtyard. Our 5th graders will also be selling ice cream during the meal to raise money for their end-of-the-year trip. Come join the fun! |

The Brentwood PTO is working alongside Dutch Heritage Restaurant again this year for the homemade pie sale. We are offering the same great tasting pies as last year at the SAME PRICE! These pies make great gifts for family, friends, and even teachers. They are also handy if you're in charge of bringing dessert for an upcoming holiday party. Dutch Heritage does the work, you take all the credit!

Join us for fun and fellowship at Stardust Skating Rink for the Brentwood Family Skate Nights from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mark your calendars! The following Thursday nights have been booked just for our families' enjoyment: September 11, November 13, January 22, and April 16. Admission is $5.00 per skater which includes roller skate rental. In-line skates can be rented for an additional $3.00. Older siblings are welcome. We request that parents stay at Stardust to chaperone their children. So support our school and come to Stardust for a fun evening of skating with our wonderful Brentwood family! |

The Brentwood School annual Fun Run will be held on April 3, 2009. As a part of this popular fundraiser, students collect pledges for each lap they finish in the run. The Fun Run is done in three sessions to accommodate all of our students: |

The annual Brentwood Spring Fling is just around the corner. It will be held on May 1, 2009 from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Your PTO is already very busy organizing and preparing for this fun-filled event. What a great time to socialize with Brentwood families and staff! Everyone is welcome, so come play carnival games, bid on a class-prepared theme basket at the Silent Auction, win cute prizes, get your face painted, eat a delicious picnic-style meal, and more.
This year we'll be serving freshly grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers. Families are encouraged to fill out a food preorder food before the day of the Spring Fling as very few orders will be available for sale at the event. We hope to see all of you at our fabulous Spring Fling! |
