A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL

Dear Tatum Ridge Community,

It is hard to believe that we are completing our second fantastic year at Tatum Ridge Elementary. Your children have accomplished a great deal this year and I am very proud of each and every one of them. The trip to Sea Camp was a big success enjoyed by everyone, students and adults alike.

I would like to say thank you to our PTO for all they do to make our school so special. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

Our second Parent Orientation Day was very successful. It was attended by over 200 parents. Thank you to everyone that took the time to attend.

I am eagerly awaiting our end of the year test results. If they arrive after the school year ends, we will mail the results to you. The Florida Department of Education will be making FCAT results available to parents online again this year. More will follow about how to access your child's scores.

Please participate in our Summer Reading Program. Details will be included, along with a summer reading list, in your child's report card envelope.

Our Back to School Meet the Teacher Night is planned for August 14, 2008 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Class lists will be posted in our cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.
