Kindergarten Roundup

Incoming kindergarten students and their parents are cordially invited to attend a Kindergarten Roundup.  The date of the Roundup is Thursday, May 1, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

A number of interesting activities for parents and youngsters will take place during this time.  Please try and make every effort to attend this informative orientation.

 Kindergarten students may be registered beginning Friday, May 2, 2008.  The school office hours for registration are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  The office will be closed for registration from Friday, June 20 through Monday, July 28. 

 To be eligible for kindergarten a student must be 5 years old ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1, 2008.

 THE REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1.     School Physical not more than a year old from the day of registration.

2.     Immunizations up to date on a blue Florida DH680 form.

3.     Birth Certificate. (Original or certified photocopy only. Birth registration cards are not acceptable.)

4.     Student’s Social Security card or number.

5.     Written proof of residency, such as a signed lease or mortgage, or FPL utility bill which includes your name and address.

6.     Custody verification if student is living with one parent, (divorce papers).

7.     Notarized address verification form if living with another family in this school district.

MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT

“MEET THE TEACHER” NIGHT FOR ALL GRADES IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 14, 2008, FROM 7:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.  OUR PTO IS HOSTING AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL SERVED FROM 6:30 P.M. TO 8:30 P.M.  THE CLASS LISTS WILL BE POSTED IN THE CAFETERIA AT 6:30 P.M.
