RAM Football is here!!! First game, Friday, August 29, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. against North Port High here at the RAM Bowl. Come cheer on your RAMS!!!

"School Advisory Council" meets the first Thursday of the month at 2:30 pm in room 28-213.  If you have any questions please contact Dr. Moore at 923-1484 ext. 64052. 

The Renaissance Learning Center is up and running!  The RLC provides free tutoring for Riverview High School students for one hour 2:30 -3:30 pm in Reading, Math, Science, Spanish, and ESOL.  All classrooms are located in building 28.  Please contact Kevyn Fitzgerald or Dr. Moore for further information (941) 923-1484.

    Riverview High is a four-year, (grades 9-12)  comprehensive high school located on 51  acres in Sarasota, Florida. The present population of this Gulf-Coast area located south of Tampa, is approximately 356,000.  The current school population is 2500 students. Graduates of 2007 number 567: 48% continued their education at a four year college, and 22% attended a  Community College.  The main building was opened in 1958 and a number of other buildings have been added through the years, ranging from an expanded library to new athletic facilities.  There are 136 classroom teachers, 9 School Counselors and 5 Administrators.   Among them they have 74 Master’s Degrees, 4 Specialist Degrees  and 5 Doctorate Degrees.

            The vision of Riverview High School is to create a comprehensive and collaborative school community, characterized by quality instruction, a world-class curriculum, and a state-of-the-art facility, all united to enable and equip all students to reach their highest potentials to become life-long learners and responsible citizens.
