The open Choice process after your choice application
is received and processed in February, you will be notified of choice assignments the

choice or magnet program you would like your student to attend next year.
Choice assignments will be made in mid-March
and will be selected through a computerized "Lottery" process.
Students interested in magnet
programs such as VPA at Booker High, MaST at Sarasota High, and
others should contact the school directly.
Please note that
"school

Choice assignment and request transportation for their students,
when they have been selected for choice
-
May 5 is the deadline for Volunteer reassignment requests
for Charter Schools and Magnet Programs for the following school
year. Schools should submit requests as they are received.
-
May 30 is the deadline for "Special Needs"
reassignment requests. Requests received after this date
will not be processed until seat availability is determined.
