Back to School Resource Fair

Saturday, August 9 at Heron Creek Middle School

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Registration begins at 8:30 am.

Proof of North Port residency, such as an electric,

water/sewer or telephone bill,

along with proof of age of birth for each student

(such as birth certificate, Immunization Record

or 2007/08 report card) will be required.

An adult must be present with students under the age of 16.

Not only will students receive free backpacks

filled with lots of school supplies, but they have the

opportunity to learn about school safety,

educational resources and services that are

available throughout the community.

Other services provided at the Fair include:

registration for new students;

school physicals for students

who do not have medical insurance and are new to the

Florida School System; immunizations for school age children (please bring record of prior immunization);

and child identification video taping.
