Heron Creek Middle School

Builders Club Builders Club allows students to participate in service learning projects. The organization operates a school store, directs food pantry collections and other school events which benefit the community.	National Junior Honor SocietyHigh-achieving students receive recognition for their academic performance and civic responsibility.
Mathletes / Science Fair / Geography Bee Students participate in the Florida Math League competition and science students display evidence of their learning and research in Science Fair competitions. All students may participate in National Geography Bee Program.	Student Government Students serve as elected representatives in the student goverment. Student Government sponsors school dances, contests and other social and civic programs at HCMS.
YearbookStudents can help be part of the creative force behind the Heron Creek Middle Yearbook.	Leadership AcademyLeadership Academy offers students the opportunity to experience community service, school leadership, environmental stewardship, participate in community governance organizations and develop youth advocacy within the community. Culminating activities include a trip to the State Capitol in Tallahassee.
